Corrections policy
Accuracy matters more than pride. When something published here is wrong, it will be fixed — clearly and quickly.
How to report an error
If you believe something in a story, film or photo essay is factually incorrect, please get in touch with the piece's title and what you believe is wrong. Sources or evidence are welcome.
What happens next
Every report is read and checked against the original research. If the claim stands, I will reply explaining why. If it does not, the piece is corrected.
How corrections appear
Significant factual corrections are noted at the foot of the corrected piece, with the date of the change. Small typographical fixes are made without a note. Nothing is ever quietly deleted to hide a mistake.
